Buying a home is a very exciting time, but can also seem a little overwhelming. No worries … you are in good hands and we are here to help you through the entire process. We’ll start with a Buyer Consultation to determine your neighbourhoods of interests, the most important things in a home for you, budgets, market trends and what to expect throughout the buying process right up to the day you get your keys for your new home.

When you are ready to proceed, we will set you up on a home search based on your neighbourhoods of interest, important criteria for your home and price range. You will be notified as soon as any homes that match this criteria are listed, so you don’t miss out on the perfect home for you. Your neighbourhood search can be very general, such as Kanata, Nepean, Barrhaven or Ottawa. They can also be more specific. For example in Kanata you can specify that you only want to look at homes in Bridlewood, Glen Cairn, Kanata Lakes, or Beaverbrook.

Home Viewing

Once you have identified a list of potential homes, we will spend some time viewing houses to see if any are a fit. We will take care of the booking of appointments that best fit your schedule no matter the location in the Ottawa and surrounding area.

Ready To Make an Offer

Once you have found your dream home we will prepare an offer to purchase. We will provide you with honest and straightforward advice about your negotiating options. Our intent is to provide you with the tools to be confident in making an offer. You should never feel pressured and the decision to reject or accept a counter offer will always be yours.

The Offer is Accepted

Once your offer is accepted, you are one step closer to realizing your real estate goal. All the necessary documents will be forwarded to your mortgage representative for approval. We recommend booking a building inspection, and will be there to ensure everything is conducted smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the property, and potential maintenance that may be required.

We will ensure that all conditions are fulfilled within the agreed deadlines and that documents are forwarded to your Lawyer, who will represent you to close the transaction.
